“Without prayer, we can do nothing. But through prayer, we can do anything God calls us to do.”
– Amy Carmichael, missionary to India
How You Can Pray This Month
As another month unfolds, we’re grateful to walk this road knowing we’re not walking it alone. The Lord continues to remind us that prayer is not a background activity, but a living partnership in what He is doing here in Thailand. Your prayers help create space for wisdom, protection, provision, and spiritual openness in ways we often only recognize after the fact. Thank you for standing with us faithfully. Here are some specific ways you can pray with us in the days ahead:
How You Can Pray for Our Family
• Pray for Janaya as she moves forward in her studies this term. Ask the Lord to sharpen her thinking, strengthen her work ethic, and build quiet confidence as she engages theology, language arts, algebra, and marine biology. Pray that learning would be life-giving, and that she would grow not only in knowledge, but in character and resilience.
• Pray for our physical and emotional health as a family. Ask God to protect our bodies, steady our minds, and help us maintain balanced rhythms of work, rest, and meaningful time together as we live and serve in Thailand.
• Pray for Joel and Kelly—that the Lord would deepen our partnership in marriage, giving us patience in pressure, clarity in decisions, and shared joy in ministry. Pray that we would communicate well, listen carefully, and support one another with grace.
• Pray that our home would be marked by warmth and steadiness—that laughter would come easily, conflicts would be handled with humility, and Christ’s peace would shape the tone of our conversations and daily life.
• Ask the Lord to continue anchoring our family in wholehearted trust in Him. Pray that our faith would mature, our gratitude would increase, and that we would walk faithfully—content in His provision and confident in His leadership for each new step.
How You Can Pray for the Thai People and Our Ministry
• Pray for our outreach in Chiang Mai tomorrow (2/21), in partnership with Acts Church. We will distribute 105 motorcycle helmets and New Testaments, and the Gospel will be clearly shared with those attending. Please ask the Holy Spirit to prepare hearts in advance—that many would truly hear, understand, and respond to the Good News.
• Continue to pray that we would reach our goal of distributing at least 1,200 helmets and New Testaments to students across Thailand in 2026. Ask the Lord to provide the financial resources, divine appointments, and open doors needed to make this vision a reality.
• Pray for Kelly and Joel as we move forward in developing Rhythms in Motion’s (RIM) website, with Mr. Konchai helping to build the site. Pray for clarity of vision, smooth communication, and excellence in every detail. Ask that the website would clearly reflect the heart of the ministry and effectively connect with those God is drawing to partner with us.
• Pray for Kelly as she continues creating textile products, tags, boxes, ribbons, and other materials for RIM. Ask the Lord to give her creativity, focus, and endurance in the process. Pray that each piece produced would carry meaning and beauty, and ultimately help support Gospel work throughout Thailand.
• Pray for open doors in new regions of Thailand—that the Lord would connect us with school leaders, pastors, and local partners who are ready and receptive to collaboration. Ask that He would go before us, preparing communities for both practical outreach and lasting spiritual impact.
• Pray for a fresh movement of the Holy Spirit among the next generation in Thailand. Ask that young people would begin to question deeply, seek sincerely, and encounter Jesus personally. Pray that seeds planted through Scripture distribution and Gospel proclamation would take root and bear lasting fruit.
Monthly Reminder (to help guide focused, informed prayer):
We invite you to join our private Facebook group, Intercede for Thailand, at https://www.facebook.com/groups/558335915595383. Please “like” the page and partner with us in prayer for the people of Thailand. The page is updated weekly with specific and timely prayer points to help you intercede more effectively.
Thank You
We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers. Every petition you offer rises before the Lord and strengthens the work He is doing in Thailand. Your intercession truly matters, and we are encouraged knowing we do not walk this road alone. May He surround you with peace, joy, and renewed strength as you continue to stand with us in prayer (Philippians 1:3–5).
